The clip top jars, made of thick glass, for which Le Parfait is deservedly famous, are perfect for preserving soups, fruits, vegetables, jams, pickles and chutneys. The clip closure is reassuringly strong and jars come with the words Le Parfait worked into the glass itself. As if there could be any doubt who made these jars. They are available in a range of sizes from 500ml to 3lts.
Different Sizes of Le Parfait Jars Available
All sizes are available as singles or in packs of 6, 12 or 18. As with all jars, the more you buy the more you save. On sizing, the largest 3litre jar is 280mm tall and 130mm wide. Meanwhile the 500ml jar is 108mm tall and 100ml wide, giving it an attractive squat shape. Regardless of the size of jar all have an air-tight seal ensuring food is well preserved.
Le Parfait’s Familiar Wiss jars are also instantly recognisable and they are popular in France and the UK with those who appreciate a premium screw ring jar. Each jar has a distinctive metal lid made up of a separate sealing disc/cap, fixed in place by a separate screw ring. Designed for preserving they are prefect for layered meats, pate, vegetables and jam. All sizes are sold in packs of 6 and in 1000ml, 500ml, 350ml and 200ml sizes. The 1000ml jar is the tallest in the range and has a more elongated shape than the others.
Le Parfait Storage Jars with Lids
Le Parfait also makes storage jars with screw on, orange lids. These jars can be used for storing kitchen staples or for non-heat treated recipes such as dressings and are stocked in 1000ml, 2000ml and 3000ml sizes. All are sold singly and in a choice of three pack sizes. Just like the others jars, these also have the name Le Parfait worked into the glass.
