Just needed jars to preserve some goods for my home brew. The cheap jars I bought from wilkos cracked in the pressure cooker, these are survived the process and looked brand new while staying airtight. 3 jars were missing the first time around but after a friendly call to customer service (answered the phone straight away, spoke to someone in the actual factory) they sent them out. Definitely recommend.

I was recommended this company when I was looking to buy a variety of jam jars for my marmalade making obsession. What a wonderful experience from the website to ordering process and then post purchase communication. I ordered 3 sizes of jam jars - total 108 - and love the choice of sizes, designs and lid colours. All arrived on time beautifully packed in shredded paper and compostable bags. Not a bit of plastic in sight.
If only more companies offered this standard of service and quality of product. Very highly recommended.

Wonderful selection of shapes & sizes of jars, and at good prices. Found just the size I wanted - and with a wide neck - perfect for walnuts I’m pickling this year whilst “in shielding”. And the gold lids will look just great on top of these black beauties (the finished product will look great for presents if I can bear to part with any)! The jars arrived quickly, and very well packed so no breakages. Certainly recommend Wares’ as the first port of call for jars!

You asked me to review recent purchases. I mainly buy the excellent hexagonal sauce bottles, jam jars, and spare lids for my charity fund-raising pickles and chutneys. I would place more repeat orders, but most of my customers tend to be very good about returning the 'empties' - hence spare lids.
I'd like to endorse all of the above, but what really impressed me was the friendliness and helpfulness of your staff on my most recent order. I was looking for replacement corks for your small decorative bottles (again, empty returns). I couldn't find them on the website, so I telephoned you. You were so helpful. I felt that you genuinely cared for your products - and for your customers.

Great web site - reasonable prices - super service! I placed a wee order on Wednesday evening - I receive immediate confirmation at 7.23pm - but I have a query about lead times so I e-mail back and ask about deliveries knowing that the confirmation e-mail was automatic and that the office would be closed, si it would be Thursday before anyone can get back to me - but no! - I have a reply back from you within under an hour - and now the goods have arrived here at the house just before mid-day on Friday! Beat that. Amazing! And I thought I'd have to store the fruit I've arranged to buy for jam making on Monday until the jars arrived. When the jam is sold at Kathleen's fund raiser for McMillan Cancer Care in a week or so, I'll make sure anyone who makes jams or sauces knows about your company and the factastic service you deliver. Dear Valerie Byles, Bless you thanks. If you could see the joy I get using your beautiful jars and labels. Your jars will have pride of place at a lunch to celebrate my husband and myself renewing our wedding vows after 30 years. There will be a varied menu home cooked by my wonderful housekeeper/cook/carer, my dearest friend who I taught to cook, and myself. The dishes will be accompanied by chutneys, pickles, jellies, vinaigrettes, compotes, relishes, sauces, spiced fruits...spicy, sweet, sharp, rich, complex, simple...all glistening and flowing in your jars! Mini Ocios with red currant jelly on each table plus a spiced version in the mini plain ones. Each one of the others enhancing one or more dishes, laid out on the main serving table.
