Why opt for shaped jars? Our shaped jars are decorative in their own right. While jars can be stored out of sight, they make for an interesting feature. The jars can be displayed on shelves or worktops and a collection of three or more adds visual interest to an area of the kitchen.
A good example is our 2 litre Sweet Shop Jar. This jar will stand upright or on its side on a slope. You can of course use it for sweets, but it’s perfect for storing flour, pasta or rice. These cost £7.50 or £41.75 for a pack of 6. A 192ml version is also available.
Wide Range & Sizes of Shaped Jars
Another jar that’s easy on the eye is the 212ml Globe Jar. The lid is available in 5 colours and is heat sealable and vinegar proof. It’s also available in a 314ml size. An alternative to the Globe Jar is the 212 ml Gourmet Jar. You may recognise the shape of this jar. It’s exactly the same shape the French use for Dijon mustard. It’s perfect for food gifts or for keeping spices. Lids are available in 7 colours and of course they are heat sealable and vinegar proof. Other sizes are available including the 106ml and 314 ml jars.
We also sell unusual cylindrical-shaped glass jars in two sizes, 115ml and 250ml. Lids are available in 3 colours and a pack of 6 costs £6.60 or £9.60 and larger packs are available. These are popular for storing olives, cherries and mustard fruits.
Glass stopper jars have long been customer favourites. We sell 3. The smallest is a 150ml Square Jar. It’s priced £7.50 for a pack of 6 with larger packs available. There is also a 190ml Hexagonal Jar. It’s also priced at £7.50 for 6. Finally at the same price there is also the 205ml Round Jar. We also sell a Set of 3 Glass Stopper Jars (one of each style) for £4.50. All glass stopper jars work well for small quantities for spices or ingredients.
Not all the jars stocked are made of glass. We stock 3 Victorian shaped PET plastic jars. These are available in 380ml and two different 500ml styles, with one having a Victorian style domed top. These are all great for storing sweets and prices start at £11.00 for a pack of 12.
