If you make to sell or make gifts or wedding favours, then dressing your jars to make sure they look unique becomes much more important. We’ve included a video at the bottom of this page for inspiration. Infusing your jars or bottles with personality is about more than label selection. How you dress lids and even the hand writing have an impact.
Think in terms of contrasting colours or different tones of the same base colour. Many of the labels here are made by Words of Art. Whether you need labels incorporating a particular colour, prefer plain to patterned or need a small label you’ll find something here to suit. Many of the labels stocked are sized 75mm x 50mm so work well for a range of jar or bottle sizes.
For smaller jars we recommend our specialist Chutney Jar labels or labels from the Kitchen Craft range or mini labels. When it comes to plain colours there is a choice of Coral, Cornflower Blue, Forest Green, Ocean Blue, Olive Green, Periwinkle, Rose Red, or Sunshine in various styles or patterns including dots, gingham and lines. Plain colours on white are prices at £2.42 for a pack of 18. We also sell packs of 100 self-adhesive labels of mixed designs: one featuring chutney related designs, the other jam related patterns. Both are £6.25 per box of 100. Either style is perfect for making large quantities of preserves at home.
We also stock Rosemary’s Garden Mini Labels. By Words of Art, all the images on these labels are by mother and daughter artists Rosemary and Caroline Wagstaff. These come in two sizes. The 38mm x 21mm size is perfect for smaller jars or bottles and is priced at £3.10 for a pack of 65. A pack of 18 75mm x 50mm labels for larger jars costs £2.42. There’s also a vegetable themed version and the prices are the same as before depending on what size you pick. Also stocked are labels by Kitchen Craft in various designs and colours. Each pack has 30 self-adhesive labels (6.5cm x 3cm) priced at £2.63. Designs include Garden Green, Gingham and Stitched Stripe.
