An easy way to strain all types of preserves, cheese, home brewed beer and wine, this handy Home made kit includes a washable straining bag, with metal eyelets, to easily place onto the corners of the enclosed straining stand. Made from durable plastic the stand features adjustable feet for securely placing on bowl rims and folds flat for easy storage.

Straining bag is handwash only.

Straining stand is wipe clean only.

Surprisingly good!

This was easy to assemble and clean..and can be packed away without taking up loads of cupboard space. I used it for straining 3lbs red currants plus the water they had boiled in and it was robust and left a very fine liquid overnight. I am inspired to try more recipes requiring straining because of this tool. I think the bag will last for several uses but I will buy a spare one in due course as it is tailor made for the frame.
