I bought 2 of these. I cook my bread in them, well-buttered, one on top of the other. The top one forms a high lid. I measure my flour by volume, but I think it comes out as 800g. I use a slow overnight 1st prove, then about 3 hours the next day. When you can't lift the top pan to peek inside, it is ready to cook. There is no problem with the top one sliding off, they are manufactured to a high standard with a completely flat rim. Very easy to wash, a short soak is all it takes to remove any little bits of crust. They come out like new. And there are no crevices collecting gunge. An easy way to cook bread!
