Since introducing our home brewing range, everything from bottles to home brewing kits is selling like hotcakes. For beginners we have introduced a great range of starter kits designed to help customers new to home brewing well on their way.
Home Brew Kits
All our kits are made by Kilner and there are two entry levels. Firstly the kit in a box made by Kilner titled, “Make Your Own..”. We offer, make Your Own Bitter Kit, Make Your Own Cider Kit and the Make Your Own Lager Kit. Prices range from £36.50 to £39.15. Two wine making kits will be added to the range shortly.
The Make Your Bitter Kit is a 40 pint kit which roughly translates to making your own homebrew for about 67p per pint. This kit will enable you to make a bitter that is unique to you while at the same time ensuring the bitter is of commercial quality. All the ingredients you need are included in the kit.
The Make Your Own Cider Kit costs £39.15 and delivers a commercial quality premium cider. The kit makes 35 pints of cider, working out at about 85p per pint. The Make Your Own Lager kit will make 40 pints of commercial quality lager working out at about 67p per pint.
Alternatively customers can opt for one of Kilner’s complete sets. These include ingredients and equipment and are all priced at £75.45. Whether you opt for the Kilner Complete Set for Bitter, Lager or Cider everything you need is included to make home brew including a fermentation bucket, hydrometer, thermometer etc. These are ideal for first time home brewers and very popular with our customers.
We also stock a range of beer and wine bottles. Our 330ml Clear Glass Beer and Cider Bottle are two of our most popular lines. Duet caps are available in a range of colours including red, green and black. 36 bottles cost £21.60 and a pack of 12 is £8.50.
We stock 3 coloured beer bottles. The 500ml Kilner Home Brew Bottle, 500ml Brown Glass Beer Bottle, and the 750ml Kilner Home Brew Bottle. The Kilner bottles are made from 40% recycled glass and can be used with crown or swings caps (sold separately). A pack of 12 750ml bottles costs £38.90 and the smaller bottle is £30.90 for 12. Our own 500ml Brown Glass Bottle is perfect for ales and takes a crown cap (sold separately). A pack of 36 is £28.90 with smaller packs available.
Finally, we sell 2 750ml wine bottles, in either green or clear glass. Corks are sold separately, and the clear bottle costs £16.75 for 18. The green bottle costs£17.35 for 12.
