​Earth Day - How Wares supports Earth Day

What is Earth Day?

Earth Day is a special day designed to raise awareness about environmental issues and to engage the global community in vital work to protect the planet. Driven by Earthday.org. this day has been held annually since the 1970s with the mission of educating, diversifying and activating the world's environmental protection movement.

This year's focus is on plastics and a drive to slash plastics production by 60% by 2040. Earthday.org is educating the public on the dangers of plastics and the damage that they do to the planet and fragile ecosystems. At Wares of Knutsford, we are big supporters of Earth Day and it ties in so closely with everything that we stand for.
