Wares move to their first warehouse
The hardware shop closed in 2009 and Wares moved to their first ever warehouse premises in Cheshire. Our range was then able to expand online.

Wares of Knutsford Ltd is pleased to announce the acquisition of the company by Pattesons Glass. Part of the Packaging Alliance Europe Group. Wares now has access to the full European supply chain.
Wares moves to new premises on Premier Park, Winsford. Part of Britain's first industrial business improvement district with excellent logistics and infrastructure enabling full loads of glass and expanding storage capability.

Wares moves to new premises near Holmes Chapel and grows the business, improving the range of products, and supply chain, launching wholesale and employing more staff. Wares operated throughout the pandemic employing local people and serving the local community.

Two students who designed the Knutsford town website also designed wares first online shop. They then went onto to build a media empire and create Angry Birds.
Wares moved to a bigger location in 2004 on Princess St. in Knutsford. We expanded our range and stayed here for 5 years.
Val now had two shops next door to each other on King St. knutsford. This became like a wonderland for her customers as you never knew what you were going to find.
Val took over the premises in Knutsford and started Wares of Knutsford. Using an order form on the desk she collected requests on items to stock.
